Cookie policy

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar mechanism without an expiry date. Here is everything this site and its partners use.

Set by us

  • np-theme (local storage, not a cookie): remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. Stays until you clear it. No personal data.

That is the complete list. We set no analytics, tracking or session cookies of our own.

Set by our advertising partner

Google AdSense serves the display adverts on our pages. To do that, Google and its certified partners may set cookies for the following purposes:

  • Showing adverts and measuring how they perform.
  • Limiting how many times you see the same advert.
  • Personalising adverts based on your prior visits to this and other sites, where you have consented or where the law permits.
  • Detecting invalid traffic and fraud.

You can turn off personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings and opt out of participating third-party vendors at www.aboutads.info. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised advertising is used and can change their choice at any time.

Set inside embedded games

When you start a game, it runs in a frame from its distributor’s domain. The game may store save data and settings in that domain’s storage, and the distributor may set advertising cookies for the adverts shown inside the game. We cannot see or control that storage. Nothing from the distributor loads until you press Play.

How to control cookies

Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and site data, usually under Privacy or Site Settings. Blocking cookies for this site will not break it; the only effect is that your theme choice will not be remembered. Clearing site data for a game’s distributor domain will erase your saved progress in games, as explained in our guide to how browser games save progress.
