Neon Panda Games lists 32 HTML5 games across 4 categories, each with a full review, and 10 guides on how browser games work. It is written and edited by a small independent game studio and it is deliberately small.
Why this exists
There are thousands of sites that list every free browser game a distributor will give them, with the distributor’s own marketing text pasted underneath. They are not useful to anyone deciding what to play. This site does the opposite: a small number of games, chosen because they hold up, each with a review that says what the game asks of you, how the controls behave on a keyboard and on a phone, where the difficulty jumps, and whether it respects your time.

Neon Panda Games is run by a small independent studio that builds mobile games for a living. The studio ships puzzle and reflex games for iOS and Android, which means its days are spent on difficulty curves, control feel and why a level that reads fine on paper falls flat in a player's hands. That is the lens every review on this site is written through.

How games are chosen
Before a game is listed it has to clear a short checklist:
- We have played it on a laptop keyboard and on a phone, long enough to see how the difficulty develops.
- The rules are clear within a minute and failures feel like the player’s fault, not the game’s.
- It does not push external installs, fake update prompts or redirects away from the page.
- No gambling mechanics, no adult themes, no content that would be out of place in a school library.
- It adds something the other ten versions of the same idea do not: a mechanic, a difficulty curve, or unusually tight controls.
A game that fails the last test is not listed even if it is competent. The full process, including how ratings are decided, is in how we review browser games and the editorial policy.
Where the games come from
The games themselves are made by independent developers and delivered through a distributor, GameMonetize, which is the standard way HTML5 games are licensed to websites. When you press Play, the game loads in a frame served by the distributor. We do not modify games, and the developers keep all rights to their work. Developers who would prefer their game not appear here can ask via the contact page and it will be removed.
How the site is funded
Two ways, both disclosed here. First, display advertising on our pages, served by Google AdSense. Second, the games carry their own advertising inside the frame, placed by the distributor and shared with the developer; we do not control which adverts appear there. No developer or distributor pays for a listing or a rating, there are no sponsored reviews, and there are currently no affiliate links. If that changes, the editorial policy and the relevant page will say so.
Our own games
The studio behind this site ships its own puzzle and reflex games for iOS and Android. None of them are reviewed here, for the obvious reason, and none of them are browser games.
